So im back when i started the blog i was using simple facial wash this has worked a treat. I have then recently been getting spots and have read reviews about the toner and moisturiser. So i went into town to have a look round well Superdrug was expensive, Morrison's was for the toner and moisturiser but i saw a spot zapper i thought id give that a go. I then went to home bargains all of the products i wanted was there and for £1.99 each i thought that was a great bargain. So i went ahead and brought them.

  • So the first one is the Kind to skin soothing facial toner.
  • Second is the Kind to skin moisturising  facial wash.
  • Third one is Kind to skin purifying cleansing lotion
  • The fourth one is the rapid action spot zapper
  • The last one is the kind to skin replenishing rich moisturiser.

After three days i have seen a change my spots are not so red and don't hurt as much. They are also shrinking in size. My face seems brighter and softer I love simple at the moment its product is really helping.

So tell me what you think of simple products, what you've tried and if it worked or not and what others i could try that would help me. I think my skin type is combination as my chin is oily but my eyebrows and forehead are quite dry at times, Am i right on this?

Thanks for reading

Hi all im back :-) Well ive been doing some cooking this week and came across a baileys cheesecake. So i gave it a go heres what it came out like it was yummy. So have a go yourself and tell me what you think.

To garnish

Preparation method

  1. Melt the butter in a pan and add the crushed digestive biscuits. Mix well until the biscuits have absorbed all the butter.
  2. Remove from the heat and press into the bottom of a lined 18cm/7in springform tin. Place in the refrigerator and allow to set for one hour.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Lightly whip the cream cheese then beat in the Irish cream and icing sugar. Fold in the whipped cream and grated chocolate. When smooth, spoon evenly onto the biscuits.
  4. Refrigerate and allow to set for a further two hours. Once set, remove and decorate with whipped cream and cocoa powder dusted over the top. Serve.

I recently read in the hairy bikers book a recipe for bread and butter pudding. I'm gonna give this a go, how about you?

Preparation method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Grease a 5 litre/9 pint ovenproof dish with butter.
  2. Thickly spread bread slices with butter and cut into triangles. Arrange half the bread, butter side up, in the bottom of the dish. Mix the fruit and sultanas together and sprinkle all the dried fruit and half the sugar over the layer of bread.
  3. Top with the remaining bread and butter pieces and sprinkle with the rest of the sugar.
  4. Beat the eggs and milk together and pour the mixture over the bread.
  5. Leave to stand for 15 minutes to allow the bread to absorb some of the liquid.
  6. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes, until the custard has set and the top is crisp and golden.

So heres a couple of my favorite recipes what do you think? Give them a try. Would love to know what you think and if you have any recipes i could try.

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog :-)

So im back this time im going to talk about products i use every day/week so here goes hope you enjoy reading  this and would like to know what you all think.

When i came back from holiday to Corfu i had a look in the duty free and saw this lovely collection of perfume. They smell fresh and fruity and i just had to get them i just love them. I use them as a room spray and perfume. They last for a long time im still on my first bottle.

Have you tried Victoria secret products if so what do you think?

Lately i have been in pound land as my friend told me about the OPI Nail varnish they sell there. At first i was a bit dubious as i didn't believe it was the right nail polish and just a remake of it. How wrong was i they're great and look really nice. I will keep looking and buy more for sure.

My best friend recently brought me this friendship bracelet from accessorize i love it as it looks really nice and is really light i hardly know its on my arm i wear it everyday just love it.

I have heard and read about Yankee candles so decided to treat myself one day. I brought myself the merry marshmallow one obviously i got it at Christmas. I am only half way through the candle i just love the smell and the smell lasts for ages.

So lately i am getting a bit more braver with eye shadow and are trying new product recently gold has become my new colour. I have green/blue eyes and usually wear purple as i feel that this colour enhances my eyes. Anyway while shopping in super drug i came across these little eye shadows for £1. What a BARGAIN.

What other colors do you think would look nice with my colour eyes. Would love to hear your suggestions.

Well recently i brought this BB cream well i must say its great makes my skin feel smoother and not so greasy like other products. The mascara is great it does make my lashes look longer but still not happy with this.

What mascara do you use that makes your lashes look longer and more volume?

Last but not least is the Garnier eye roll on. I love this as it covers up my panda eyes really well and i cant live without it. I have recently heard of the new eye roll on from garnier which is the Garnier skin naturals caffeine eye roll on which is the picture below.

Has anyone tried this if so what do you think?

So what do you all think of this post hopefully im getting better at this, i am definitely enjoying it and hope you all enjoy reading it. Would love to hear what you all think.

                    Quote of the day

Poem of the day

I Shall Paint My Nails Red

because a bit of a colour is a public service
because I am proud of my hands.
because it will remind me I'm a woman.
because I will look like a survivor.
because I can admire them in traffic jams
because my daughter will say ugh.
because my lover will be surprised.
because it is quicker than dyeing my hair.
because it is a ten-minute moratorium.
because it is reversible.

I love this poem i remember doing this in G.C.S.E. English which was years ago and  its stuck with me since.

Well im back hope you all had a good Christmas and a happy new year. My new years resolution is to blog more and loose weight hopefully i will succeed in both this year. Anyway here's a few things i got for Christmas and would like to share with you all.

I love this perfume my best friend brought me love the bottle and it smells lovely. The scent is like a flowery sweet smell but is definitely not to sweet and not to strong. As soon as i finish this perfume i will buy this again.

I also got this champneys nail varnish set for Christmas i have only tried the clear one as i am not aloud to wear nail polish at work. The nail polish drys really quick which is good as sometimes i am a bit impatient and chip it and have to repaint it which is annoying lol.

I love this eye shadow palette i got ive never wore gold before so was very weary about trying this but i loved it cant wait to try the others love MUA make up range cant wait to buy some more products in the new year.

In the new year i decided to try some new make up, hair products and skin care products out as a treat in the new year sales. Well here are a few things i brought i would love to here some of your thoughts about these products.

I love this foundation it is so light and not greasy like some foundations i have brought in the past. I don't even notice it is on sometimes i will definitely buy this product again.

I brought a lot of lipsticks and eye shadows from fragrance direct in the January sales i must admit this was a bargain at £1.99 and i love the colour.

I am fed up of my hair going all frizzy and out of control as soon as i step foot out of the door so i tried this product from L'Oreal. I was a bit skeptical at first as i have used other products that haven't worked and was hoping i hadn't wasted my money. Anyway i tried this and must say its brilliant it keeps my hair looking as nice as it was when i left the house. It was £10 from amazon which is alot of money for a hair product (well i thought so) but will definitely buy this again as it does do the trick.

Do you have the same problem with your hair if so what do you use?

I have recently read reviews online about Simple facial products so decided to buy the facial wash. I have seen a great improvement in my skin the last couple of weeks. So was thinking of buying some more Simple products but realize there is so much out there i would love to no if any of you have tried any of these products and what works well together to help clear your skin.

This is the facial wash i am using at the moment i am going to try the toner and see if this helps combined with the face wash.

When i buy this i will let you all know what i think. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
